Wolodymyr Dutka of Kerhonkson, NY died Monday, January 10, 2011. He was 89. Wolodymyr was born on September 12, 1921 in Ukraine, the son of Hruhorij and Justina (Wujda) Dutka.
Wolodymyr had lived in Kerhonkson since 1973. He was a member of Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church and was the owner/operator of Willow Bungalows in Kerhonkson.
Wolodymyr is survived by his wife Stephania. His two daughters, Shania Hitchcock of Accord and Olga Rokycky of Ellenville. His two sons, Andrij Dutka and his wife Mary of North Lawrence, NY and Eugene Dutka and his wife Evelyn of Kerhonkson. His daughter-in-law Sandy Dutka. His grandchildren; Christine Hitchcock, Katie Campbell, Cindy Rokycky, Melissa Dutka, Michael Dutka and Thomas Shadd. He has several great grandchildren. Wolodymyr was pre-deceased by his son Bohdan Dutka, his son-in-law Thomas Hitchcock and his brother Peter Dutka.
Visiting hours will be Friday, January 14th from 4-7pm at HB Humiston Funeral Home, Kerhonkson. The Panakhyda will begin at 6pm that evening. The Holy Sacrifice of the Divine Liturgy will be Saturday, January 15th 10am at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church, Kerhonkson. Burial will follow at Pine Bush Cemetery, Kerhonkson.
