Tatiana M. Pash

Tatiana M. Pash (Tania) of Kerhonkson, NY died Sunday, January 2, 2011. She was 80. Tania was born on January 30, 1930 in Volchystovychy, Ukraine, the daughter of Anton and Daria (Kushnir) Chuchra.

Tania emigrated to the United States in 1952 and had lived in Kerhonkson since 1962. She was an active committee member of Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church and for almost 30 years was involved with Plast Ukrainian Scouting Organization where she was currently the head of the Kerhonkson Branch. Tania loved her work at Bank of America in Kingston, where for many years was doing tax processing.

Tania is survived by her two daughters, Zenovia M. Stecyk and her husband Oleh and Marta Tsuvanyk and her husband Yurij, all of Kerhonkson. Her grandchildren; Sophia (John) Crosier, Oleksander and Roman Stecyk and Chrystyna and Natalka Tsuvanyk. Great grandchildren, Alexander and Markian. Her brother George (Irene) Chuchra, and her sister Irene Solczanyk.

Visiting hours will be Tuesday, January 4th from 5-7pm at HB Humiston Funeral Home, Kerhonkson. The Panakhyda will begin at 6pm that evening. The Holy Sacrifice of the Divine Liturgy will be Wednesday, January 5th 10am at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church, Kerhonkson. Burial will follow at St. Andrew’s Cemetery in South Boundbrook, NJ.
