Ruth Lypka

Ruth (Schartmann) Lypka passed peacefully on March 26, 2016 in her home surrounded by her family.  Ruth was born September 8, 1932 in Nieder Salzbrunn, Germany, came to the United States in 1954. Wife of the late Alex Lypka, who died June 12, 2013.  Ruth was a loving mother and made her home a warm and welcome place for all. She loved to cook and bake and was especially fond of her German dishes. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Deborah Slutsky and Heidi Ruger and 5 grandchildren, Evan and Andrew Slutsky, Kevin,Kyle and Emily Ruger.

Funeral services are private at the discretion of the family and under the guidance of H.B. Humiston Funeral Home in Kerhonkson, New York.
