Robert J. Yeager

Robert J. Yeager of High Falls died on Tuesday, November 19, 2013. He was 78 years old. Robert was born July 29, 1935 in Wawarsing; the son of Sherman and Ester (Phillips) Yeager.

Robert proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a Correctional Officer for 12 years and then Industrial Supervisor until his retirement from the Department of Corrections. He liked to hunt and enjoyed traveling to his camp in Maine and especially eating the Maine lobsters.

Robert is survived by Margaret, his wife of 57 years. A son Robert and his wife Diane of Accord. Grandchildren, Robert Yeager and Glen Peck. And his brother Walter Yeager.

Visiting will be held on Thursday, November 21^st from 2-4 & 7-9pm at H.B. Humiston Funeral Home, 30 42nd St., Kerhonkson. A Celebration of his life will begin on Friday, November 22^nd 10am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Pine Bush Cemetery, Kerhonkson.
