Robert Parrish

Robert L. Parrish of Stone Ridge, formerly Kerhonkson, died October 16, 2010 at his home. He was 90 years old. Robert was born in Norfolk, VA on December 23, 1919, he was the son of Mary and Iva Parrish.

He is the widow of Anna Solomon Parrish who died in 2002.

Robert served his country in the United States Navy through WWII and Vietnam. He  retired after 26 years of dedicated service as an Electricians Mate Chief.

Robert is survived by his daughter June Garbacki, 2 granddaughters, 6 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Robert was predeceased by his children Roberta and Gordon, his brother Allen and his sister Margaret.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 22nd at 10am at H .B. Humiston Funeral Home, 30 42nd St. Kerhonkson. Burial will follow at Mt. Hebron Cemetery in Flushing, NY.
