Richard William Pagel, Jr.

Richard Pagel of Torrington, CT and formerly of Accord, NY passed away on November 6, 2022 at the age of 65. Richard was born on June 28, 1957 in Kingston, NY to Richard and Savina (Sahler) Pagel.

Richard graduated from Rondout Valley High School. For many years he worked for Pratt and Whitney testing materials in the laboratory. Richard’s passion in life was his motorcycles, he loved to ride. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.

Besides his mother Savina, Richard is survived by his step-daughter Cara Lynn Manegal and her mother Susan Pagel. He is also survived by his brothers, Robert, Michael (Gladys), and Daniel.

A graveside service is scheduled for Friday, November 11, 2022, 11am at the Fairview Cemetery, Stone Ridge, NY. Arrangements are entrusted to Humiston Funeral Home.
