Richard Alexander Johnson

Richard Alexander Johnson, “Ricky”, of Kerhonkson, NY; passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 13, 2011. He was 34 years old. Ricky was born on August 5, 1976 in Middletown, NY. He was the son of Warren and Helen (Sarbu) Johnson.

Ricky was a self employed contractor and most recently was working with A&G Custom Cabinets. He was an avid fisherman and hunter; he enjoyed camping and was fanatic about the Jets and Mets. Ricky was a member of the NRA and the Wawarsing Rod and Gun Club. He enjoyed spending time with his little buddies Aiden Lezer and Austin Webman.

In addition to his parents Warren and Helen of Kerhonkson, and his nephews Aiden and Austin, Ricky is survived by his sisters; Stephanie Lezer and her husband Chip of Wawarsing and Lori Johnson and her fiancé Paul Webman of Accord.

Ricky was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Herbert and Jean Johnson and his maternal grandparents John and Elizabeth Sarbu.

Visiting will be held on Thursday, February 17th from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at H .B. Humiston Funeral Home, 30 42nd St. Kerhonkson. A Celebration of his life is scheduled for Friday at 10am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Pine Bush Cemetery.
