Patrick J. McManus

Patrick J. McManus, 73, of Accord, NY died on Wednesday October 19, 2016. He was born on August 6, 1943 in Cavan, Ireland.

Patrick came to America in 1963 when he was 20 years old. He lived in New York City before moving to Accord where he became a farmer. Patrick’s whole life revolved around farming. He worked as the caretaker for Kelder’s Farm in Accord. He loved watching hockey, especially the Islanders. His grandchildren knew if they were watching a game with him they were Islander fans too even if they really weren’t.

Patrick is survived by his son Christopher (Michelle), and his daughter April. Also surviving are his grandchildren; Brandon, Sean, Gavin, Randy, William, Joseph, Jenny and Jesse. His great-grandchildren; Aevah Grace, Kaaden, Shaylea and Alana. And his Aunt Josie.

Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 5-8pm at Humiston Funeral Home, 30 42nd Street, Kerhonkson with a service beginning at 7pm that evening.
