Patricia Jane O’Halloran of Kerhonkson, NY died on August 30, 2015. She was 86 years old. Born on July 7, 1929 in Abington, PA to James and Catherine (McKeegan) Campbell.
Patricia, a devoted wife, mother and sister, met her husband after World War II and moved from New Jersey to Hollywood, Florida in early 1952 to begin raising a family.
Not before they took up flying, and once flew under the George Washington Bridge together.
In addition to raising seven children, enthusiastically supporting them in their various interests and athletic endeavors she was also a prominent presence in the Arts and Cultural activity in South Florida. For many years Pat served as President of the Broward Co. Civic Ballet Co. Auxiliary and was their most effective PR and Marketing Director. An active participant in the Cultural life of Hollywood, she worked diligently for the success of various arts organization. She was called upon as hostess to many Artists and dignitaries. During the City-Wide Irish Festival in 1964 she had the fun job of hosting and introducing the Irish Ambassador to Broward County.
She also assisted her husband in his own businesses juggling many hats in the day of no cell phones or computers!
In later years having moved to Kerhonkson with her family she became a Real Estate agent and then found yet another successful ‘niche’ as Head of Sales at her daughters resort. During the twenty years at Pinegrove Ranch she helped thousands of guests plan their vacations and fondly became known as ‘Miss Pat’.
Patricia was truly an elegant, charming, witty and fun person, with a keen appreciation of all things French, especially cuisine and couture fashions. She was both compassionate and generous with everyone and held a large pride in her family and a little pride in her heritage as a Daughter of the American Revolution. She loved people and people responded in kind. We will all miss her dearly.

O’Halloran Jr. of Kerhonkson, NY, Stephan O’Halloran and his wife Denise of Middletown, NY, David O’Halloran and his wife Donna of Kerhonkson, NY and Scott C. O’Halloran of Statesville, NC.
