Patricia Mary Fisher

Patricia Mary Fisher, of Accord, NY, passed away on November 27, 2017 at the age of 76. Patricia was born on September 18, 1941 in Brooklyn, NY; she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Groark) Lally.

Pat entered into the convent in Hawthorne, NY after high school where she became a nurse doing hospice work for terminally ill cancer patients. After 17 years Pat left the convent and on December 17, 1977 she married Charles Fisher. In 1982 she and her husband adopted their son Harrison from foster care. Pat continued her nursing career with the New York State Dept. of Correctional Services. Pat was a devote catholic and gave her life to the church. She was always positive to anyone she met and in turn everyone who met her was blessed by her warmth and kindness.    

She leaves behind her beloved husband Charles and three children, Harrison, Melissa and Erin as well as her grandson Clifford.

Visiting will be held on Thursday, November 30th from 2-4PM and 6-8PM at Humiston Funeral Home, 30 42nd St., Kerhonkson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 1st at 10 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Pine Bush Cemetery, Kerhonkson.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the St. Mary and St. Andrew’s Church, 137 S. Main St., Ellenville, NY 12428.
