Norman L. Keator

Norman L. Keator, age 69, of Stone Ridge, NY, died suddenly at his home on Tuesday, January 23, 2018. Born on February 8, 1948 in Monticello, NY, he was the son of the late Vernon and Louise (Bennet) Keator.
 

Norman was a long time Stone Ridge resident. For many years he had worked for Rondout Manufacturing Corp. in High Falls. Norman was an animal person and enjoyed riding horses. He was a talented woodworker and had a love of motorcycles.

Norman is survived by his daughter, Tina Keator-Gratis and her husband Edward of Kerhonkson. His grandchildren; Christina, Christopher, Alexander, Caleb, Kaitlynn and Jamie-Lynn and his great grandson Markus. Also surviving are his brother Douglas Keator of Stone Ridge and his sister Anita Farquhar of Accord and his nephews; Keith Keator, Timothy Farquhar and Brian Farquhar. Norman will be deeply missed by his faithful dog Thor. Besides his parents, Norman was pre-deceased by his brother-in-law Gene Farquhar.

Visiting will be held on Sunday, January 28th from 2-5 PM at Humiston Funeral Home, 30 42nd St., Kerhonkson. A celebration of life service will begin at 10 AM Monday the 29th, burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Stone Ridge.
