Nina Marlene Tokle

Nina M. (Shepardson) Tokle of Stone Ridge, NY passed away with her husband by her side on Thursday, April 22, 2021. She was 85 years old. Nina was born on June 28, 1935 in Exeter, Maine; she was the daughter of the late Eliab and Marguerite (Pushor) Shepardson. 

Nina was married in 1958 to the love of her life, Kenneth A. Tokle. She loved her growing family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed her crafts and was very creative.  She had previously worked as a waitress at the Mohonk Mountain House and loved to climb to Sky Top.  She followed along with her husband to many ski jump events - transporting and feeding any young ski jumper that needed her.  Along with her husband, they lovingly cared for several foster babies.

Besides her husband Kenneth, Nina is survived by her children, Kim Lisa Tokle-Warner and her husband Robert D., Kenneth A. Tokle II and his wife Catherine, Eric Tokle and his wife Susan, and Sean Tokle and his wife Melinda; grandchildren, Robert M. Warner (Raechel), Michael Warner, Mathew Warner (Gennifer), Melissa Warner, Jamie Wood (Kaleb), Stephanie Tokle, Jennifer Hunt (Joseph), Logan Tokle, Anna Tokle, Leif Tokle (Nora), Christian Tokle, Kelsey Tokle (Sheela), Kyle Tokle (Molly Sue), and Ian Metzger; great grandchildren, Franklin, Jude, Autumn, Max, Elena, Steven, Mia, Austin, Lucas, and Otto; and many nieces and nephews.  

She was pre-deceased by her granddaughter, April Renee Tokle; her brothers, Eliab D. Shepardson, Jr. and sister-in-law, Jean, and Clyde Shepardson and sister-in-law, Estelle; and her step-father, John J. Hill. 

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 1st 12:30 pm at the Rochester Reformed Church, Accord.
