Neil Rosenthal

Today we lost our friend, Neil Rosenthal. Neil has been in the New Horizons' Family since the Campus, and when we opened Canal Path in 1986, Neil was one of the first to move in. Neil called Canal Path home for 35 years, and last year had the opportunity to have his very own bedroom  (1st time ever) at Mountain View. Neil quickly became part of the Mountain View family as he enjoyed his own bedroom.  

Neil loved the outdoors, gardening, eating what he harvested, the sun, the warmth and the sticks.  He was always up for a campfire and s'mores. He enjoyed the night life; Jay Leno, Jimmy Fallen and his favorite Johnny Carson. Neil always wanted to learn how to read, so he enjoyed when his favorite people would read the TV Guide to him. Now he's in heaven reading his TV Guide sitting next to Arnold. 

Neil is survived by his brother Steve Rosenthal and his wife Mary, along with his extended NHR Family.  

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, January 31, 2022 at 1pm at Humiston Funeral home, Kerhonkson. Services will follow the visiting at 2pm.
