Natalie B. Worden, 85, formerly of Ellenville, NY died on January 4, 2013. Natalie was born on July 12, 1927 in Clintondale, NY, the daughter of George H. and Gladys M. (Simpson) Ackhart. As a child Natalie was adopted and raised by her grandparents, Eli and Idella Simpson.
Natalie was a member of Pilgrim Holiness Church in Stone Ridge. She had worked as a saleslady at Kingston Luggage for many years and had held sales positions at many clothing retail stores. Those who knew Natalie also knew she loved to shop and always enjoyed wearing her fancy clothing.
Natalie is survived by her husband, Harry Worden. Her step-daughter, Debbie Charron of MA, her brother, Eli Sutton and his wife Ethel of Kerhonkson, and her sisters; Theda Nelson and her husband Theodore of Kerhonkson and Cheryl Hassett and her husband Joseph of High Falls and many nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by her sister, Leila Furman.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, January 9th from 10-12pm at HB Humiston Funeral Home, 30 42nd Street, Kerhonkson. The funeral service will begin at 12pm following the visitation. Burial will take place at Pine Bush Cemetery, Kerhonkson.
