Moses Gerard West

Moses Gerard West of Kerhonkson, NY passed away on Monday, July 2, 2012 at the Orange Regional Medical Center. He was 75 years old. Born on October 14, 1936 in Ellenville, NY; he was the son of the late Irving B. and Ruth (Green) West.
Mr. West was owner of NJW Research in Poughkeepsie, NY. Gerry was a very spiritual person and attended Sky Lake where he enjoyed meditating. He was a member of the Sierra Club and believed in protecting nature. He also enjoyed running and was a member of the NY Runners Club.
Gerry is survived by his daughters Kristin West of Kerhonkson and Anne West of Larchmont, his granddaughter Ella Ward, former wife Carole West and his nephew Thomas Wright of Oakland, NJ.
Gerry was predeceased by his sister Rachael.
Services will be held on Sunday, July 8th at 12:30 at the Sky Lake Meditation Lodge following regular services. For directions please visit them at www.skylake.shambhala.org.
