Michael Hrabowecky

Michael Hrabowecky, a cherished member of the Kerhonkson community, passed away peacefully at home on February 15, 2025, at the age of 102. Born on March 14, 1922, in Ukraine, Michael's journey brought him to the United States, where he spent many fulfilling years.

Michael was the beloved son of the late Michael and Anastasia Hrabowecky. He was widowed by his dear wife, Helen, in 2005, and her memory remained with him throughout his life.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during visiting hours on Sunday, February 23, 2025, from 5 to 7 PM at Humiston Funeral Home in Kerhonkson. A Panakhyda service will be held at 6 PM that evening. The Divine Liturgy in his honor will take place on Monday, February 24, 2025, at 10 AM at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church, Kerhonkson, followed by burial at Pine Bush Cemetery.

Michael Hrabowecky will be remembered for his kindness, resilience, and the love he shared with those fortunate enough to know him. His spirit will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
