Melissa Marie Conley

Melissa Marie Conley of Kerhonkson, NY, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2016. She was 21 years old. Melissa was born on November 16, 1995 in Kingston; she was the daughter of Scott and Debra (McGowan) Conley.

Melissa was a graduate of Rondout Valley High School. She loved working with children and volunteered for many events. She started her own bakery business and was scheduled to open Sweet Melissa’s Café and Bake Shop in Accord in just a couple weeks. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Melissa is survived by her brother Scott Conley Jr. and his fiancé Kelli Veytia of Saugerties, her maternal grandmother Ruth McGowan, her nieces; Alex, Hailey and Paige, and her fiancé Austin Dreher. Also several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Charles J. McGowan.
 

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2016 from 1-4pm at Humiston Funeral Home, 30 42nd Street, Kerhonkson. Family and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Monday the 21st between 10-11am. The funeral procession will then be led to Benton Bar Cemetery for burial.
