Mary K. Sarbu

Mary K. Sarbu, of Ellenville, NY passed away on Monday, May 9, 2016 at the Ellenville Regional Hospital. She was 56 years old. Mary was born on June 2, 1959 in Manhattan, NY; she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Groschwitz) Sarbu.

Mary was a former employee of Shoprite in Ellenville. She had also worked as a 911 dispatcher in Milford, PA and Jerome, ID.

Mary is survived by her brother, George Wendelmuth and his wife Addie of Walden; his sisters, Edith Glenn of Port Ewen, Helen Johnson and her husband Warren of Kerhonkson and Rita Morgan of Port Jervis as well as several nieces, nephews and her dear friend Sabrina Lee of Ellenville.

Mary was predeceased by her brother Dieter Sarbu.

Visiting hours will be held from 2-4 pm on Thursday, May 12th at Humiston Funeral Home, 30 42nd St. Kerhonkson. Cremation will be private.
