Mark Glenn Bartle

Mark Glenn Bartle, 59, of Kerhonkson, passed away peacefully after a long illness on May 22, 2014, surrounded by his family.

Mark was born April 4, 1955 in Goshen, NY. He was a 1973 graduate of Rondout Valley High School. Mark worked for Agway Inc., John Deere, and then became Manager of Mike’s Auto Parts and CarQuest in Rosendale, NY. Throughout the years, Mark Enjoyed drumming with the bands Bittersweet and Hungry Ghost, and traveling the country with his friends to attend NASCAR events. He also loved to golf, bowl, travel, be with his pets, and especially spend time with his grandchildren.

Mark is survived by his loving wife Julie, his daughter Kristen of Kerhonkson; his grandchildren Abigail DeGraw and Ryan Malarczyk; his mother Connie Bartle of Stone Ridge; his brother Gary Bartle and his wife Deborah of Midlothian, Virginia; his sister April Longto of Stone Ridge; his sister Julie Martin and her husband Brian of Stone Ridge; and nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 27th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at H.B. Humiston Funeral Home, Kerhonkson. The funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday the 28th 10am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Fantinekill Cemetery, Ellenville.
