Mariam Razzazan

Mariam L. Razzazan, 32, of Accord, NY, died February 16, 2015 as a result of injuries obtained during a motor vehicle accident. The first child of Denise and Reza Razzazan, “Mimi” was born on July 18, 1982. 

Mimi graduated Rondout Valley High School in 2000 and continued her education at Johnson & Wales University, where she obtained her B.S in Hotel Management.  Upon graduation, Mariam pursued her passion for the hospitality industry and worked as a manager at Darden Restaurants, before being recruited by Maines as the National Account Executive of Red Lobster.

Family, friends and colleagues will always remember Mimi’s smiling face and her passionate, energetic, and giving ways. Mimi’s biggest joys were her family, cooking, baking and making those she cared about smile. 

She is survived by her mother Denise Razzazan and her step-father Bob Brown, her father and step-mother Reza and Ferial Razzazan, her siblings Daria and Hamid Razzazan, and the many lives of those she has touched.

Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 21st from 3:30 to 6:30pm with a celebration of her life beginning at 6:30pm at HB Humiston Funeral Home, 30 42nd St., Kerhonkson. 

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Mariam's name to the  Food Bank of the Hudson Valley.
