Margaret J. Brooks

Margaret J. Brooks, formerly of Accord and Kerhonkson and having made her home in St. Petersburg, FL for the past 50 years passed away on November 1, 2009 at her home at the age of 98 years old. Her husband, Hiram Brooks died previously.

Survivors include her son and wife, Robert and Beatrice Brooks of Kerhonkson and a daughter, Alice Schoonmaker of St. Petersburg, FL. Other Survivors include 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren, also a very dear friend Mary Lou Crist and several nieces and nephews. Three sisters and three brothers died previously.

A member of the Rochester Reformed Church in Accord and later the Albright United Methodist Church in St. Petersburg, FL.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, November 16th at 11am at Pine Bush Cemetery, Kerhonkson. The Rev. John Needham will officiate.
