Linda Finkbeiner

Linda Finkbeiner of Kerhonkson, NY passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was 75 years old. Linda was born on July 4, 1941 in the Bronx, NY; she was the daughter of the late Harry and Dorothy (Nelson) Sanford.

Linda graduated from the Kingston High School in 1959. On October 25, 1959 she married Louis Finkbeiner in High Falls, NY. She retired from B Petroleum where she worked as a bookkeeper for 30 years. Prior to this she worked at Channel Master in Ellenville. Following her retirement she and Louis would spend their summers in Clayton, NY and the winters in Kerhonkson.

In addition to her husband Louis, Linda is survived by their children, Michael Finkbeiner of Clayton, NY, Terry Clearwater and her husband Gary of Kerhonkson, Kevin Finkbeiner and his wife Leslie of Fleichmans, NY and Kathy Finkbeiner and her husband Bill Ruerup of Pine Bush, NY; her brother and sister-in-law, Guy and Thelma Finkbeiner; sister-in-law, Pat Sanford; seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

Linda was predeceased by her brother Harry “Butch” Sanford.

Memorial visitation will be held on Friday, December 9th from 2-4 & 7-9pm with a celebration of her life beginning at 8:30pm at Humiston Funeral Home, Kerhonkson
