Laura Barringer
February 22, 1926 — January 24, 2018
Laura Barringer of Olivebridge, NY, passed away in the comfort of her home on Wednesday, January 24, 2018. She was 91 years old. Laura was born on February 22, 1926 in the Town of Rochester; she was the daughter of Eli and Ella (VanEtten) Coddington and the widow of Alfred Z. Barringer Sr.
Laura had worked at Channel Master in Ellenville for 29 years. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Laura is survived by her children, Lori VanAken and her husband Charles of Olivebridge and Paul Barringer and his wife Leslie of Mulberry, FL; her grandchildren, Kimberly Krom, Shain Barringer and Arisa Barringer; eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
In addition to her husband, Laura was predeceased by her son Alfred Z. Barringer Jr.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 27th from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm with a celebration of her life immediately following at HB Humiston Funeral Home, 30 42nd St., Kerhonkson. Burial will follow at Krumville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Olive First Aid Squad, P.O. Box 151, Shokan, NY 12481.
