Keith Ambrose Ayers

Keith Ambrose Ayers a lifelong resident of Kerhonkson, NY, died Monday, March 22, 2010 at Albany Medical Center with his mom by his side after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 26 years old.

Keith was born on December 24, 1983 in Kingston, NY. He graduated from Rondout Valley High School in 2002.  He graduated from Ulster County Community College with an Associates in Arts in 2004.  He furthered his education at Stony Brook University graduating Cum Laude in 2009 with a degree in Biology. His passion in life was to become a Physical Therapist.  He had been accepted into the entry level Doctor Physical Therapy program at the Stony Brook School of Health Technology and Management, but was unable to attend due to his health.

Keith had earned the prestigious award of becoming an Eagle Scout through Troop #16 in Stone Ridge.

He enjoyed going target shooting, bear hunting and spending time with his uncle John.  

Keith is survived by his mom Rita Stoddard, his brother Kenneth Ayers and his sister Kira Ayers all of Kerhonkson. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, cousins and good friends.
