Joseph J. Cunningham

Joseph J. Cunningham of Kerhonkson, NY, passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at the Ferncliff Nursing Home. He was 82 years old. Joseph was born on September 19, 1928 in the Bronx; he was the son of James M. and Rose (Ford) Cunningham.

Mr. Cunningham had worked for Conagra Foods in Totowa, NJ for over 47 years. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish and St. Mary and St. Andrew’s Church.

Joseph was recently predeceased by his loving wife Eileen Cunningham whom he married on January 19, 1947.

Mr. Cunningham is survived by his children Rosemary Cummings of Accord, Ellen Kearney of Yorktown Heights, Joseph Cunningham of Nashua, NH, John Cunningham of Accord, Daniel Cunningham of Woodside, Queens and Maureen MacDonald of Long Beach, LI. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Visiting will be held on Friday, June 3rd from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at H.B. Humiston Funeral Home, 30 42nd St. Kerhonkson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 4th at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Kerhonkson. Burial will follow at Fantinekill Cemetery.
