Joanne E. Oddy

Joanne E. Oddy of Accord, NY, died unexpectedly on Sunday, May 19, 2019. She was 72 years old. Joanne was born on May 12, 1947 in Paterson, NJ; she was the daughter of the late Norman and Pearl (Reid) Cave.

Joanne had lived in the Howell Township before moving to Accord. While living in New Jersey Joanne had worked as a Court Clerk in the Asbury Park Police Court and later retired from the Department of Motor Vehicles in the Ocean Township. Joanne liked the beach and loved to read, she didn’t go anywhere without her NOOK.

Joanne is survived by her children; Ronald Oddy Jr. of Atlantic City, NJ, James Oddy of Kingston, Anthony Profetto and his wife Jennifer of Bricktown, NJ and Dawn Oddy-McGirr and her husband Edward of Accord. Also surviving is her former husband Ronald Oddy of Port St. Lucie, FL, and her sister Patricia Castro of Paterson, NJ. Six grandchildren; Summer, Victoria, Arianna, Michelle, Darron and Kylah. Five great grandchildren; Alayna, Trinity, Lilly, Trinity and Cataleya Angelina. Joanne was predeceased by her sister Barbara Visser.

Visiting will be held Thursday, May 23rd from 11-1pm at H.B. Humiston Funeral Home, Kerhonkson. A celebration of her life will follow at 1pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Accord Rural Cemetery.
