Janet Marie Beesimer

Janet Marie Beesimer of Saugerties, NY, died Saturday March 2, 2013 at Kingston Hospital. She was 78 years old. Janet was born on February 11, 1935 in Kingston, NY; the daughter of the late John and Philomenia (Schoonmaker) Beesimer.

Janet, along with her parents were members of the Patroon Grange in Accord. Janet loved being around people and had a great sense of humor. She enjoyed watching television and looking at books and magazines. Janet attended Ulster Greene ARC Pecora Center in Kingston for many years and she also helped out in the sheltered workshop.

Janet is survived by her brother Thomas of Stone Ridge, her sisters, Cheryl Williams of Saugerties, Malvina Haskett of the state of Washington, Doris Decker of Kerhonkson and Linda Tessler of the state of Florida. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents Janet was predeceased by her brothers, John, Douglas and Roger and her sisters Diane and Vivian.

Visiting will be held on Tuesday, March 5^th from 5-8pm at H.B. Humiston Funeral Home, 30 42^nd Street, Kerhonkson. A celebration of her life is scheduled for Wednesday at 10 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Pine Bush Cemetery.
