James I. Davey, Sr

James I. Davey, Sr. of Kerhonkson, NY, formerly of Monticello, died Monday, August 24, 2009. He was 80. James was born on September 17, 1928 in Port Jervis, the son of Isaac and Lucy Anna (Dennis) Davey.

James is survived by his eight children, several grandchildren & great grandchildren, and his sister, Diana Sawyer. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Betty Jane. His parents and his three sisters; Ruth, Ruby and Ganeta.

Visiting hours will be Wednesday, August 26th from 7-9pm at HB Humiston Funeral Home, Kerhonkson. A Celebration of his life is scheduled for Thursday the 27th at 10am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Port Jervis.
