Jacqueline Davi

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Jacqueline Danièle Marie Davi of Accord, New York. Jacqueline passed away on Friday, July 7th, 2023. She was 79 years old. Jacqueline was born on December 30th, 1943 in Armbouts-Cappel, France. She was the beloved daughter of the late Roger Antonin and Constance Odette Sans. She is predeceased by her brothers José, Christian, and Eric, and by her sister Martine. She is survived by her brothers Jean Claude, and his wife Geneviève, and Ronald.

Jacqueline has joined her devoted husband of 51 years, Giovanni Davi, who passed away in 2017. Jacqueline is survived by her two daughters, Maria Graziella Di Santo, and her husband Domenico Di Santo, Jacqueline Davi, and her companion, Eric Clearwater, her two sons, Salvatore Davi, and Vito Roger Davi, and his companion Zuzana.

Jacqueline is also survived by her loving grandchildren Carmelina Rega, and her husband Claude Rega, Jacqueline Di Santo, and her fiancé Ryan Brennan, Gabriella Di Santo, and her fiancé Cameron Meyer, Alexandra Di Santo, Mason Clearwater, Isabella Davi, Tizian Davi, and his wife Luisa Davi, and Andrew M. Jacqueline adored her beautiful great-grandchildren Cassano Rega, Luca Rega, Seraphina Rega, Marlon Davi, and Raphael Davi.

Jacqueline is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Jacqueline and her husband moved to Borgetto, Italy in 1966 and then Toronto, Canada in 1967 before arriving in Queens, New York in January of 1968. In 2014, they moved to upstate New York to be with their family and grandchildren.

Jacqueline lived a full life, filled with so much fun and laughter. Jacqueline’s favorite thing to do was to laugh with her family. She was the silliest person to be around and always made everyone smile and laugh wherever she went. She loved to play pranks and would often entertain her family with ridiculously silly outfits, hats, glasses, and more! Jacqueline showed us all just how important it is to laugh and have fun in life. We will never forget her sweet smile and infectious laugh.

In addition to having fun, Jacqueline loved many things. She enjoyed taking walks and sitting outside in the “fresh air.”  She loved to watch the daily news and absolutely adored watching her telenovelas. She loved watching shows and movies that made her laugh, especially Mr. Bean and Grace and Frankie. She also loved dogs and spending time with her beloved furry friends, Bella and Sadie. Jacqueline had the biggest sweet tooth and loved anything sweet (especially cookies, candy, & chocolate). She loved shopping, notably for clothes and earrings, and she loved to let her grandchildren torment her by giving her crazy hairstyles, painting her nails, dressing her up, and doing her makeup.

We will miss you so much, our beautiful nonna. We will always cherish all of the moments we shared together and will never forget just how much you made us laugh and smile. Ti vogliamo tanto bene. Nous vous aimons pour toujours.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, July 13th from 12-2 & 4-6pm at HB Humiston Funeral Home, Kerhonkson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday the 14th at 10am at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Kerhonkson. Burial will be in Accord Rural Cemetery.
