Harold James Nigro

Harold James Nigro of Accord, NY passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2018 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family. He was 52 years old. Harold was born on June 7, 1965 in Brooklyn, NY; he was the son of Catherine (Caruso) Mason and the late Harold James Mason.

Harold enjoyed woodworking and had worked in construction in his early years. He had a love for the outdoors, whether it be hunting, fishing or soaking up the sun on his front porch or at the beach.

In addition to his mom Catherine, Harold is survived by his wife, Annette Nigro; their daughter, Tiffany Nigro; his brothers, Joseph (Lisa) Mason and Scot Hasbrouck; his sisters, Angie (Rich) Hasbrouck, Jackie (Mark) Goldstone and Marcy (Tony) Paris; Connie Rzeszewicz and Donna Spano who he considered sisters as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his father, Harold was predeceased by his sister Catherine Beasley.

Harold has requested that jeans be worn during visiting hours which are being held on Saturday, February 10th from 4-6 pm. A celebration of his life will begin at 5:30 pm at Humiston Funeral Home, 30 42nd St., Kerhonkson. Cremation will be private and at the convenience of the family.
