George L. Stubblebine

George Lawrence Stubblebine of Kerhonkson, NY passed away on August 8, 2024. He was 88 years old. George was born in Jersey City, NJ on February 3, 1936; he was the son of George and Emma (Fowles) Stubblebine.

George proudly served his country in the United States Army and later dedicated years of service at VAW Aluminum until his well-deserved retirement. A passionate outdoorsman, George found solace in nature through his love for hunting and fishing. He was also a life member of the Rondout Valley Rod and Gun Club.

George is survived by his loving wife Patricia Stubblebine whom he married on March 29, 1964, his daughter Nancy Brooks and her husband David, grandchildren Tyler and Cheyenne Brooks, his brother Donald Stubblebine and his wife Jessie.

George was predeceased by his brother Richard “Otto” Stubblebine.

Services for George will be held privately.
