Gary L. Quick

Gary L. Quick, 69, of Kerhonkson, NY, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2024, in Kingston, NY. He was born on August 7, 1955, in Kingston, to Jerry S. Quick and Augusta Mae (Simpson) Quick.

Gary dedicated his professional life to working as a truck driver, most recently with Binnewater Ice Company, alongside several other companies throughout his career. He was a devoted family man, cherished by his children Jeremy Quick (Connie), Garrett Quick (Sarah), and Monica Gambino (Michael Tumminia), and missed by their mother Dolores Dawson. He is also remembered lovingly by his grandchildren: Makalah, Isabella, Alivia, Gage, Johnathan, Lillie, and Lyam.

In addition to his parents, Gary was predeceased by his brothers, Jerry Jr. and Herman. He lived a life full of passion, nothing bringing him more joy than dirt track racing, which he truly loved.

Family and friends are invited to honor and celebrate Gary's life at the Humiston Funeral Home, located at 30 42nd Street, Kerhonkson, on Saturday, January 4th from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM followed by a gathering at the Kerhonkson Fire House, Main Street, Kerhonkson.

Gary will be remembered for his loving nature and the joy he brought to those around him.
