Frederick W. Lore, Sr. of Ellenville, NY, formerly of New Rochelle, died Friday, August 14, 2009 at his home with his wife at his side. He was 73 years old. Fred was born on November 12, 1935 in Mt. Pleasant, NY the son of Vito and Philomeno (Morabito) Lore.
Mr. Lore had served in the Naval Reserves from 1952 to 1955. He was later drafted into
the United States Army and was honorable discharged in 1961. Fred was a truck driver
for Transit Mix in the Bronx and was a member of the Teamsters Local 282.
In addition to his wife D. Lore at home Fred is survived by his children Anthony of New Rochelle, William of Greenwich, CT, Frederick Jr. of Mahopac, Christina of Tarrytown and Fay of Washington, eleven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, his god-daughter Aubrianna and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mr. Lore was predeceased by his step-father James Saparito, his daughter Lindamarie and his grandson Andrew Bonwell.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 18th from 5-9 P.M. at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, 16 Shea Place, New Rochelle, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 9:30 am at Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Fred’s name to Hospice of Kingston 34 Broadway, Kingston, NY 12401.
