It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Frank A. Cincotta, who left us peacefully on February 20, 2025, in Kingston, NY. Born on April 25, 1934, in Brooklyn, NY, Frank was the son of Joseph and Rose (DeNicola) Cincotta.
Frank was a dedicated family man, having married his beloved wife, Emily "Millie" Trevisone, on October 16, 1960, in Brooklyn. Together, they built a life filled with love and cherished memories until she passed in 2014. Frank is survived by his daughters, Laura Decker and her husband Wayne of Colorado Springs, and Roseann Cincotta of Kerhonkson. He also leaves behind three adoring grandchildren: Danielle, Alexandra, and Frank. Frank was predeceased by his brother Joseph Cincotta and sister Grace Galofaro.
For over 30 years, Frank worked as a laborer for NYC at the Ashokan Reservoir, demonstrating his strong work ethic and commitment to serving his community. He was an active individual, known for his love of running as a member of the Onteora Runners Club, as well as enjoying softball, hunting, and being a devoted fan of the New York Yankees. Frank was a lover of a good time, and he enjoyed vacationing and cruising with friends and family.
A graveside memorial service will be held in May at the Whitfield Cemetery, Accord, NY, where family and friends will gather to celebrate Frank's life. In honor of Frank’s memory, contributions may be made to the Kerhonkson-Accord First Aid Squad, PO Box 67, Kerhonkson, NY 12446.
Frank will be remembered for his joyful spirit and the love he gave to those around him. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and passion for life that will forever resonate in the hearts of his family and friends.
