Erica Renee Bell

Erica Renee Bell a lifelong resident of Accord , NY , died Thursday, July 15, 2010 at Albany Medical Center with her parents by her side after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 17 years old.

Erica was born on May 3, 1993 in Kingston, NY; she was the daughter of Lorie and Charles Bell, Jr.

Erica was a student at the Rondout Valley High School and received her diploma this past June. She enjoyed playing field hockey and softball. Erica was a life member of 4-H where she won several awards and was involved in many community projects. She attended Sunday school and was a member of the Rochester Reformed Church. Erica was very determined and maintained a positive outlook on life despite her illness.

In addition to her parents Lorie and Charles of Accord, Erica is survived by her sister Trisha Bell and  her niece Adrianna Moran of Accord, her paternal grandfather Charles E. Bell, Sr. of GA, her maternal grandmother Linda Dugan of Scotia, NY, her aunts Kathleen Driscoll, Suzanne Hoffner, Wilhelmina Bell and Joanne Bell all of GA, and Lisa Dugan of Kingston, her uncles William and Lance Bell of GA, Joseph Dugan,  III of Kingston, Patrick Dugan of Loch Sheldrake and Shane and Daniel Dugan of Schenectady.

Erica was predeceased by her paternal grandmother Joan Bell and her maternal grandfather Joseph Dugan, Jr.
