Eric James Lunden

Eric James Lunden of Kerhonkson, NY died Tuesday, October 28, 2008 of a massive heart attack. He was 52. Eric was born in Staten Island on May 3, 1956, the son of Rita (Piccione) and the late Dag Lunden.

Mr. Lunden had worked for the New York City Transit Authority for many years. He was a very talented artist who also was a contractor for his own construction business. Eric was very involved in AA and NA. He was very proud of his recovery and believed in helping others reach their goal of overcoming their addictions.

In addition to his mother Rita of Kerhonkson, Eric is survived by his wife Nancy of Kerhonkson, his children; Rachel and Daniel Lunden of Staten Island and Eric and Erica Lunden of Kerhonkson, his brother; John Lunden of Florida and several nieces and nephews.
