Elizabeth Edith Barringer

Elizabeth Edith Barringer of Kerhonkson, passed away on July 13, 2011. She was 88 years old. Born February 4, 1923 in Liverpool, England; she was the daughter of Percy G. and Edith A. (Outwin) Jeffs.
Mrs. Barringer was a parishoner of the Samsonville United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her sister Lillian Gray and her husband Norman, her nieces and nephews; Teri Gray, Kevin Gray, Linda Flanagan, Richard Gray, Brian Gray and Debra Jeffs.
Edith was pre-deceased by her husband Burton G. Barringer and her siblings; Alexander Jeffs, Mary Decker and Jessie Gray.
Visiting will be held on Sunday, July 17th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at H.B. Humiston Funeral Home, 30 42nd St., Kerhonkson, NY. A Celebration of her life is scheduled for Monday, July 18th 10am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Palentown Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Edith's name to the Samsonville United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 1397, Olivebridge, NY 12461.
