Elena H. Travaglione

Elena H. Travaglione of Kerhonkson, NY passed away on Friday, March 18, 2016 at Albany Medical Center. She was 85 years old. Elena was born on April 15, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY; she was the daughter of Angelo and Incornatta (Fichetti) Travaglione.

Elena worked in the medical field as an LPN and later as an EKG Technician. She loved to take long rides on our beautiful country roads and camping. Elena was an animal lover; she enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family, especially her grandson James. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Elena is survived by her children, Eleanor, Gregory Sr., Annette “Toni” and Angelo Bayetis and his wife Debbie; her grandchildren, Gregory Jr., Stacy and James “Jimmy Boy”; eight great grandchildren and Cindy Owen her "Daughter from another Mother".

Elena was predeceased by her two brothers and four sisters.

Visiting hours will be held from 2-4 & 7-9 pm on Wednesday, March 23rd at Humiston Funeral Home, 30 42nd St. Kerhonkson. A funeral service is scheduled for Thursday at 10 am at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Fantinekill Cemetery.
