Donald VanNostrand, Sr.

Donald VanNostrand Sr. of Kerhonkson, NY, passed away at his home on Monday, June 29, 2015. He was 72 years old. Donald was born on June 13, 1943 in Kingston, NY; he was the son of the late Kenneth and Lillian (Sawyer) VanNostrand.

Mr. VanNostrand was a retired machinist having worked for VAW and later Hydro Aluminum.

Donald is survived by his wife Hilda VanNostrand of Kerhonkson; their children Donald Jr. and his wife Linda of Napanoch, Rose Farrell and her husband William and Michael and his wife Rosa all of Accord; four grandchildren, William and his wife Alyssa, Michael and his wife Shaina, Amber and Kayla as well as his great grandsons Mason and Jax.

In addition to his parents Donald was predeceased by his brothers, Raymond and Kenneth VanNostrand and Kenneth Whelan, and his sister Sally VanWagenen.

Cremation will be private and at the convenience of the family.
