Clifford P. Booth of Clayton, NC, formerly of Kerhonkson, NY, died Sunday, December 16, 2012 in Wake Medical Center, Raleigh, NC. He was 70 years old. Mr. Booth was born on December 18, 1941 in Kingston, NY. He was the son of the late Paul and Evelyn (Baker) Booth.

Mr. Booth served his country in the United States Navy. Clifford retired from Eastern Correctional Facility in Napanoch after working for many years in maintenance and carpentry. He was a past member of the Kerhonkson Fire Company and at times held a commissioner, captain and lieutenants positions.

Mr. Booth is survived by his wife Lanora of Clayton, NC. His children; Randy Clifford Booth of Middlesex, NC and Pamala Joy Tew of Knightdaale, NC. His sister, Beatrice Brooks and husband Robert of Kerhonkson, NY. His brother-in-law Richard Steers of Kerhonkson, NY and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Clifford was predeceased by his sister Ellen Steers.

Funeral services are under the guidance of HB Humiston Funeral Home, Kerhonkson, NY. A graveside memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, May 18th, 2013, 11am at Pine Bush Cemetery, Kerhonkson.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Clifford's name to the Safe Haven for Cats, 8431 Garvey Drive, Raleigh, NC 27690 or the Veterans of Foreign Wars or the Disabled American Veterans.
