September 28, 1950 — February 19, 2012

Anne M. Estroff passed away peacefully on February 19, 2012 at the age of 61 in her Kerhonkson, NY home, after courageously battling breast cancer for 12 long years.

Anne, daughter of the late Josephine and Albert Meyer, born in Callicoon, NY, grew up in Mileses, NY, and moved to Kerhonkson in 1968. She graduated from Ulster County Community College, began her career as a legal secretary (holding that position for 41 years), and married Dave of Kingston, NY in 1971. Over the years she was Chairperson of the Town of Rochester Planning Board and an active member of the Friends of Historic Rochester and was instrumental in fostering membership growth and securing the community Museum/Library.

She loved spending time with family and friends, vacationing in Florida, caring for her flowers, cruising with Dave in their '66 GTO, reading, and baking sweets for her kids.

She is survived by her loving husband, Dave Estroff, her 2 children, Sharon (husband Stefan) of Wawarsing, NY and Andy (wife Amy) of Yardley, PA, her 2 grandchildren, Caleb (son of Sharon and Stefan) and Colin (son of Andy and Amy), and her 4 siblings, Carl of Bethel, NY, Rita (husband Jeremiah) of Damascus, PA, Marilyn (husband Bob) of Bloomingburg, NY, and Claire (husband Frank) of Melville, NY.

All who were touched by Anne are invited to share in the celebration of her life on Wednesday, February 22nd from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the H.B. Humiston Funeral Home, 30 Forty Second St., Kerhonkson, NY 12446. The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 10am at Our Lady Of Lourdes Church, Route 209, Kerhonkson, NY. Interment will follow in the Whitfield Cemetery, Accord, NY.
