Anna Fil of Kerhonkson, NY died Saturday, August 30, 2014. She was 90. Anna was born on July 30, 1924 in Selo Seredne, Ukraine, the daughter of Ignatz and Parania (Soltys) Carewicz.
Anna’s husband Julian passed away in January 2011. She is survived by her daughter Irene Carrato and her husband Pete of Maryland, and her two grandchildren, Nilya Carrato and Bethany Schiefer and her husband Christopher.
Visiting hours will be Tuesday, September 2nd from 5-7pm at HB Humiston Funeral Home, Kerhonkson. The Panakhyda will begin at 6pm that evening. The Divine Liturgy will be Wednesday the 3rd 10am at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church, Kerhonkson. Burial will follow at Pine Bush Cemetery, Kerhonkson.
