Alice Seymour

Alice Stone Seymour of Spruce Street, Kerhonkson, died October 15, 2008 at Albany Medical Center. She was 75. Alice was born on October 11, 1933 in Kerhonkson, the daughter of Harry and Rosaleen (Ricketson) Stone.

On August 24, 1952 Alice married Henry M. Seymour at the Federated Church of Kerhonkson.

In addition to her husband of 56 years Alice is survived by their children; Deborah Doyle of West Hurley, NY, David Seymour and wife Marilyn of Kerhonkson, Suzanne Bush and husband Frend of Accord, NY and Stephanie Lewis and husband Terry of Fairlee, VT, her brother; John Stone of Ellenville, NY, her sister; Dorothy Millett of Westwood, NJ, her grandchildren; Frend Benjamin Bush IV, Alyssa Bush, David Wayne Seymour, Jr., Cadet Jared Lewis and Joshua Lewis and a special family friend Byron Babcock.

Alice was predeceased by her sisters; Mary Stone and Shirley Smith and her brothers; William and Hank Stone.

A family quote reads, “Alice’s family and friends were her life.”

Visiting will be held on Friday, October 17th from 6-8PM at HB Humiston Funeral Home, 30 42nd St., Kerhonkson. A Celebration of her life is scheduled for Saturday, October 18th at 10 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Pine Bush Cemetery.
