Alice Sax of King of Prussia, PA, formerly of Kerhonkson, NY died Sunday, October 26, 2008 at Shannondell at Valley Forge. She was 80. Alice was born in Kerhonkson on May 15, 1928, the daughter of Lewis and Fannie (Miller) Fisher.
Mrs. Sax was a graduate of Kerhonkson High School. She received a B.A. from New York State University at Albany in Education a Master’s degree from the University of Southern California in Education and a Master’s degree from Ball State University in Counseling. Alice was the Head of the Guidance Department and a former Guidance Counselor for Frankfurt American High School in Germany. She was a member of ORT, B’nai Brith and her local Book Club. Alice was an avid bridge player and she loved to travel.
Mrs. Sax is survived by her daughter; Wendy Sax of New York City, her son; Dr. Rick Sax of Berwyn, PA, her grandchildren; Emily and Jonathan Sax and Jaimeson Andrews and her sister; Ethel Fisher of Manhattan. Alice was predeceased by her husband Karl Sax, her sisters; Nettie Fisher Kazinetz, Lillian, Sylvia and Rose Fisher and her brothers; Frederick, William I, Sr., Aaron and Sam Fisher.
