Alice Conklin

Alice Conklin of Kerhonkson, NY died on Saturday, May 25, 2013 surrounded by her family. She was 65 years old. Alice was born on March 22, 1948 in Kingston, NY the daughter of the late John and Alida (Relyea) Miller.

On October 17, 1965 Alice had married James G. Conklin at the Ellenville Methodist Church. James had recently died in April 2012.

Alice was an avid camper and enjoyed playing cards. She loved her family dearly and will be deeply missed by all.

Alice is survived by her children; James J. Conklin and his wife Christine of Kerhonkson, David Conklin of High Falls, Richard Conklin and his wife Gwen of Kingston, Linda Conklin of High Falls and Walter Conklin and his wife Danielle of Eddyville. Her grandchildren; James, Jessica, Brandon, Amanda, Richard Jr., and Jordan Conklin and Kameryn Stanley. Her great granddaughter, Allana. Her sisters; Florence, Gertrude, Ruth, Anna Mae, Evelyn and Margaret, and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Alice was predeceased by her brother Daniel and her sisters Katherine and Lucille.

Visiting will be held on Saturday, June 1^st from 10-12pm at H.B. Humiston Funeral Home, 30 42^nd St., Kerhonkson. A celebration of her life will follow the visitation at 12pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pine Bush Cemetery, Kerhonkson.
