Alfred Z. Barringer Jr.

Alfred Z. Barringer, Jr. of Olivebridge, NY, passed away in the comfort of his home on Sunday, June 11, 2017. He was 69 years old. Alfred was born on October 5, 1947 in Ellenville, NY; he was the son of Laura (Coddington)  Barringer and the late Alfred Z. Barringer, Sr.

Alfred had retired from the Town of Olive Highway Department where he worked as a heavy equipment operator.

In addition to his mother Laura of Olivebridge, Alfred is survived by his daughter Kimberly Krom of Olivebridge; his brother Paul Barringer and his wife Leslie of Mulberry, FL; his sister Lori VanAken and her husband Charles of Olivebridge; three grandchildren, Virginia, Jason and Bella as well as several nieces and nephews.

Alfred was predeceased by his former wife Beverly Barringer.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 16th from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm with a celebration of his life immediately following at HB Humiston Funeral Home, 30 42nd St., Kerhonkson. Burial will follow at Krumville Cemetery.
