Alda E. Slater

Alda E. Slater, of Kerhonkson, NY, died Thursday February 28, 2013 at Kingston Hospital. At the age of 67 years old. Alda was born on April 3, 1945 in Brooklyn, NY; the daughter of the late Frank and Letizia Colacino.

Alda was a life long resident of the area, living in Napanoch before moving to Kerhonkson.

Alda is survived by her children, Theresa Dymond and her husband Dave of Sundown, Thomas Kennedy and his wife Laurie of Kerhonkson, David Kennedy and his wife Jenny of Kerhonkson, Donna LaCroix and her husband Paul of Kerhonkson, Iris Hammel and her companion Chip Mehlig of New Paltz, Conway Hammel and his wife Mary of Napanoch, and Jessica Slater and her companion Louis Valentino of Hyde Park. Her grandchildren; Caryn, Lisa, Megan, Thomas Jr, David Jr, Dylan, Victoria, Brandon, Lexi, Christian, Sophie, Conway John, Damian, Louis John and Giovanni. Her great grandchildren; Ryan, David, and Rachel.

Alda was predeceased by her brother Anthony Colacino and her sister Gina Fauth.

Visiting will be held on Monday, March 4^th from 6-8pm, a celebration of her life will begin 7:30pm that evening at H.B. Humiston Funeral Home, 30 42^nd Street, Kerhonkson.
