Alan Wayne Levine

Alan Wayne Levine, 84, of Accord, NY, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021.  He was born on October 23, 1936, in Brooklyn, NY.  He was the son of the late Aaron and Eva (Koss) Levine.  On March 25, 1961 he married Arlene Hope Glazer in Rockland County.

Alan graduated from Ellenville High School with honors, and then received a Bachelor’s Degree from SUNY Albany in Teaching. All his life he was community minded. He was the former Chairman of the Town of Rochester Assessment Review Board, former Town of Rochester and Ulster County Republican Committeeman, former NYS Republican Committeeman; he was a member of the Kerhonkson Jewish Seniors and a member of the Kerhonkson Synagogue: Congregation Tifereth Yehudah V'Yisrael. Alan was the CEO of Nest Fresh Farms and Snapple Beverages retiring in 2002. Alan was always a very determined and positive man; he always had a plan and finished what he started. He will be missed by many.

Alan is survived by his loving wife Arlene; his children, Seth Levine, Eli Levine and Joshua Levine and his wife Alicia; his grandchildren, Jenna, Ashley, Erin, Nicole and Gabriella; great grandchildren, Aidan, Marshall and Finnigan; his brother Stephen Levine and his wife Sherry, and his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Sheri and Gene Kenyen. He was predeceased by his sister Gail Levine.

Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am Friday, January 15th at H.B. Humiston Funeral Home, Kerhonkson followed by burial at Kerhonkson Synagogue Cemetery.
